Wussup friends! Happy Saturday! If I must say I'm sort of in "break mode" as I've been calling it. So much has taken place in my life in such a short amount of time and I've just been grinding through it, at least that's what it seems like. Aside from that in the midst of chaos God revealed to me that He's the mass orchestrator of every part of my life. As someone who's defense mechanism is to be in control and orchestrate the outcome of every situation in my own life, I'm learning that's not my job to do. As gentle as God has been with me in maneuvering through this mechanism He's also forcefully pushing me out of the way.
In being pushed out the way I have no choice but to trust God where my hands are tied. Sometimes we fight battles that weren't even meant for us to fight. We tend to waste a lot of physical energy while leaning to our own understanding of how things should go or better yet how they should turn out. Sometimes all our job requires is to have faith and intercede with our prayers. It may sound minimal and it may sound cliche, but there's power in prayer and what I've learned about God is that He honors consistency. God honors faithfulness.
I want to encourage you today to trust the mass orchestrator and step aside. Give the battles to God and let Him do the rest. You'll be thankful that you did.
My prayer today is that we would relinquish all control. I pray that we will trust God and not lean to our own understanding. I pray that we acknowledge the sovereignty that is in Christ and let Him orchestrate the very situations in our lives. Let us hold on to the peace that comes with trusting God.
