2021 Year Recap

Happy New Year's Eve friends! We have made it through another uncertain year! I'm so grateful and blessed to have made it through this year! As we all know I love to recap my year and reflect on what this year has brought and how faithful God has been! So let's jump right on into it!

This year has been interesting but has been good in many ways overall for me. I started the first quarter of the year out very strong in prayer and fasting. I interceded on my family's behalf like never before. I also experienced God in so many new ways as well. I celebrated my 25th birthday and really grew up and matured more this year in different ways. I contracted and overcame Covid-19. I celebrated a lot of people this year! I had the honor of being in my friend's wedding and traveled to Mexico & New Orleans for the first time! This year I traveled a bit more....I definitely made up for no trips in 2020. I celebrated the birth of my friend's first child, my friend's engagement, 2 years with my wonderful boyfriend, birthday's, and successfully completed another year of grad school! I served faithfully in church and even stepped into new leadership positions. I led the young adult's group with my friend Kaitlyn which created a safe space for young believers to grow in Christ.

I really took time to enjoy my life and the people around me. I had more spontaneous moments and really took time to cherish and value family and friends. I experienced miraculous healing take place for my aunt. I stepped out on faith and participated being a vendor in a pop up shop selling my skin care products. I completed and finalized a project that God placed on my heart in 2019. I transitioned back to work in person and have been healthy and whole. I went to Halloweekend for the first time and had a blast. I went to see Maverick City Music in concert which was such a beautiful experience! I went to the sunflower field with my friend Naomi for the first time and crossed that off of my list of things that I have been wanting to do. I read a total of 5 books this year and continued taking care of not only my physical health but my mental health as well. My blog reached one more country than it did last year. I recorded a few episodes of my podcast with my amazing co-host. I also created my vision board for the new year with my girls. Most of all this year I didn't burn myself out, I moved at my own pace and I watched God provide and be faithful to me like never before! I can say that I'm truly growing in God in a new way and I look forward to seeing what is next for me in 2022!

My prayer today is that 2022 is all that God has intended for it to be and that it will be a great outpouring of blessings, God's grace, mercy and a newness that will take place across the land. I pray that there will be a greater anointing on God's children and that we all will see the face of God in a new way.

With love,

-Yours Truly, Eb
