El Roi…He Sees

ree

Happy Saturday friends, also happy November!

To really think that it’s November already isn’t really registering to me. Time is truly flying. As this year is coming to a close and times are currently uncertain I’m reminded in this very moment that God sees. He sees me, you, and all that we’re carrying.

In this current phase of my life I find myself clinging on to the tangible feelings that let me know that God is with me. I’m constantly renewing my mind to also register that even in the moments that aren’t as tangibly felt, I can trust and know without a doubt that God is still with me and that He sees me. It can be hard at times to grasp hold of that when there’s so much chaos happening around us. One thing that’s reassuring is knowing that as a child of God I can rest knowing that I am protected and marked by God.

Though I have to constantly remind myself that I don’t focus on what I see, I keep my eyes on Jesus the one who sits high and looks low. The one who knows my beginning and my end. The one who fights all of my battles. The one who will reign victorious every time. It may seem that the wicked is at peace yet God’s word says that He laughs at the wicked for they will have their day. Psalms 37:12-13

Today I want to simply encourage you. You may have read this and felt my exact sentiments. Know that if that indeed is you, call on God as El Roi. He sees you, He hears you and He knows your every need. He has counted your tears, your frustrations, your worries, and everything in between. He knows the breaking point yet trust and know He won’t let you break and what may seem broken is not past the point of repair.

My Prayer today is that we will experience God as El Roi that we will know that nothing goes past His radar. I pray that we will get comfortable and call on the God who sits high and looks down low. That we will call on ABBA, God our father. He’s there. He always was and He always will be.

With love,

-Yours Truly, Eb
