Faith To Believe

Happy Saturday friends! This week I want to talk about faith and having faith to believe. One of the questions that came to mind was simply this…what are you believing God for? The list for many may be far and wide. I’m reminded that faith is truly the currency of heaven. Faith is the key that unlocks many doors.

When it comes to the things I’m believing God for, I often ask myself do I have the steadfast faith for what I’m believing God for? See a lot of us may say “I do have faith.” Yet is your faith wavering? Is it dependent upon feeling or seasons? Will we still have faith when everything looks desolate and silent? We have to have faith to believe. Hebrews 11:1 says that FAITH is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. Faith is our belief that a thing will happen even when no evidence is present because our faith is in God. Hebrews 11:6 goes on to say that without FAITH it is impossible to please God, for he who comes to God must believe that He is and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him. What does that mean? It means that we have to believe in our hearts that God is who exactly He says He is. It means that our believe is in His character. He will reward us with the BEST as we keep our hearts towards Him and seek Him for His best and His will pertaining our lives.

We have to know that God is a good Father. He has the track record to prove it. We have to believe and know that God loves us so much that it pleases Him to bless us. So again I ask…what are you believing in God for?

My prayer today is that we plant seeds of faith in the ground for what we’re trusting and believing God for. I pray that we not only believe but that we seek the face of God for His divine will for our lives. I pray that our faith will be steadfast and that we won’t waver. I pray that in it all we will see the hand of God like never before.
