Happy Happy Saturday friends! Man when I say the month of August has been eventful, it has truly been one heck of a month and it has also been a beautiful month as well.
This summer went so fast I feel like I blinked and it was over. I will say that this has been one of the most productive summers I’ve had in a while, with it being my first summer completely done with school. I’ve experienced a lot of 1st this summer which was cool. I participated in my first pop up shop for my book, I went to Jamaica for the first time and met a lot of family for the first time as well. I started a garden for the first time which has been a true journey that has taught me a lot. I’ve also stepped into a lot of “new” things that I’m learning how to navigate.
As summer is winding down and as sad as I am to see it go, I can say that this summer has stretched me in a good way. It has taught me a lot of lessons as well as grew me as a person. As we’re on the verge of a new season I believe that the fall has something in store for us all. I want to encourage you today to embrace fall with open arms and really be present with that season just as we are with summer. Transitions show how fast time is going and lately it seems that time has sped up. It’s recognizing that ultimately we’re living on borrowed time.
My prayer today is that we be present in each season and that we seek God with open hearts to know His perfect will for our lives. I pray that in each season we experience God like never before!
With love,
-Yours Truly, Eb
