Shine Your Light

Now more than ever is the time to let your light shine. In Matthew 5 it talks about us being the light of the world like a city on a hilltop that cannot be hidden. God wants us to be seen in places of darkness. There are so many opportunities on a daily for us to shine our light. We can use social media, phone calls, serving our community and more. How we choose to use our words and our actions will either shine or dim our light. When people see you what do they tend to see? Is your light bright, are you bringing hope and spreading love? Or is your light dim, do you carry division, strife, uneasiness and are you spreading the negativity that is already flowing through the world?

As darkness begins to seep more into our world choose to be a light. Choose to shine from the hilltops of the biggest city. Choose to be seen for good things and seen for righteousness. God put a light in you for a reason. Don't let it dim or burn out now. So many people need your light and darkness can't withstand the light.

My prayer today is that in such darkness that we will be lights on hilltops. I pray that we will be seen by those who need our light the most. I pray that we will exude God's love in everything that we do. I pray that we will Shine in the darkest places that needs the light the most.

With love,

-Yours Truly, Eb
