Have you ever went before the Lord in prayer stating the desires of your heart and the prayer isn't answered?
Psalm 20:4- May he grant your heart's desires and make all your plans succeed.
God already knows but He wants us to come before Him boldly in prayer as we may do but how often do we pray God's will for our lives before we pray and ask God to grant us the desires of our heart? Personally for me I remember the many times I would go before God in my daily prayer and would name and pray over all the things I wanted to see God do in my life and in the lives of others. I honestly used to be afraid to pray that God's will would be done in my life because I was afraid that what I desired He didn't or wouldn't desire for me so my prayer wouldn't get answered. Looking back now as I've matured in Christ that was a very foolish way to think.
When living this life we always want to be in God's perfect will. In fact it's pretty dangerous not to be. Lately I've been practicing praying for God's will to be done in my life. Since I've done this I've had clearer understanding of why He may have said "no" to some of my desires or simply "not right now". Looking back He was saving me and protecting me from myself.
God gives you what you can handle but also what He can trust you with. Making sure you're not putting other things before Him. I simply call it "Trusting the Process". You have to trust that God's timing is the perfect timing for all of the things that you want him to bless you with in your life, i.e job, business, school, marriage, home, family, etc..you catch my drift. We tend to rush these things but some of the things we are rushing we are not even ready for. When you truly trust God, His timing and everything in between; He will show you why He allowed time to be delayed. When it's in His will and has purpose for the purpose He has called you to walk in He will provide in every aspect. Everything will just come naturally. Start praying for His will to be done in your life and trust Him and the Process.
My prayer is that we will wait patiently on God that we will Rest In Peace knowing that He knows what’s best for us and He will never lead us astray.
-Yours Truly, Eb
So good!
