Happy Saturday friends! Can you believe that we're already in July? It seems like 2022 is speeding by in a slow-fast motion but in all God is still good. I wanted to share with you all something that Holy Spirit said to me in prayer yesterday that brought me so much peace. If I can be transparent I have been under attack for a few months and sometimes it gets so hard to fight. I've literally had experiences where the enemy wants me to self destruct. Now I know his only plan is to steal, kill, and destroy God's people and God's promises. God reminded me not too long ago that He is fighting no only with me but for me. He reminded me that I don't have to spend so much energy worrying about the attacks because His burden is easy and His yolk is light, meaning I can transfer my battles on to Him and let Him fight for me.
Yesterday the Lord reminded me that even in this tough season, even in spite of what the enemy is "trying" to do mighty are His plans for me. I kept hearing that over and over again just as I kept hearing "I fight for you and will fight with you" over and over again recently. When I heard Holy Spirit tell me that His plans for my life are mighty I said to myself that there has to be scripture to back that up. So I went to the bible app and I searched "mighty are your plans for me". Originally nothing came up but in searching for revelation I came across Jeremiah 29:11 which says "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope." Verse 12-14 stuck out to me because in prayer I specifically said to God "your word says that if I seek you I will find you and Lord I'm seeking you now." Verse 12 goes on to say "Then you will call upon Me and go and pray to Me, and I will listen to you." God's word literally states that when you pray to Him (converse with Him) He is listening with full attention. Verse 13 says "And you will seek Me and find Me, when you search Me with all your heart." Verse 14 says "I will be found by you, says the Lord, and I will bring you back from captivity..."
For whoever is feeling or is being held captive in this season by the enemy I'm here to confirm that mighty are God's plan for you! I had to declare that over my life. Often times the enemy tries to shake your faith and your belief turns into unbelief. Hold on to God's promises and let God not only fight your battles but let Him orchestrate the plans that He has for you. Don't worship the enemy with worry and doubt and wavering faith. Just look up and keep your focus on Jesus.
My prayer today is that we find new refreshing faith. I pray that we believe again. I plead God's precious blood over our lives and a mighty shield of protection from the enemy. I pray for breakthrough and for the captives to be set free once and for all. I pray that we know and sense God's love for us.
